Higgsfield publishes a Photoshop integration, bringing its generation into Adobe's image editor. Photoshop already includes generative features, so the useful question is what a third-party integration adds.

Working non-destructively

Generative results are hard to iterate once flattened, so keep each generated element on its own layer with its own mask, and keep the original untouched at the bottom of the stack. When a generation is close but not right, masking part of it over a previous attempt is often faster than regenerating — a habit that transfers directly from ordinary compositing.

How is this different from Photoshop’s built-in generative fill?

Different underlying models, with different strengths, content policies and licensing terms — plus access to video generation, which the built-in image tools do not cover.

Can I still use adjustment layers and masks?

Yes, and you should. Generative for content changes, traditional for tonal work and precise masking.

Does generated content stay editable?

Keep each generated element on its own layer with its own mask. Once flattened, iterating becomes much harder.
